Composition Conference for First-Year Student Writers,
Kutztown University, April 10:
More than 50 students attended the Grizzly Man panel to hear Elizabeth Ache's "Grizzly Man," Dawndrea Montoya's "The Secret World of the Bears," John Ponis' "A Grizzly Tale," and Angula Sorg's "The Bear Nature of Timothy Treadwell." These essays explored perceptions of nature and the construction of filmic identity in Werner Herzog's documentary.
